Uttar Pradesh Subordinate Services Selection Commission (UPSSSC) will conduct the PET exam from September 6 at various places across the state. The exam will end on September 7. The exam city slip has been issued, which the registered candidates can download by visiting the official website upsssc.gov.in by entering the application number and date of birth. Uttar Pradesh Preliminary Eligibility Test (PET) 2025 will be conducted on 6th and 7th September in 48 districts. The exam will be conducted in two shifts daily. In the first shift, the exam will be from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm, and in the second shift from 3 pm to 5 pm. This is the eligibility test for the recruitment to the posts of Group 'C' by the Commission.

According to media reports, the admit card will be issued about four to five days before the exam date. The hall ticket will be released on the official website of the commission, where the candidates will be able to download it. Candidates should keep in mind that, along with the admit card, it is mandatory to go to the exam center with an official identity card with a photo, such as an Aadhar card, PAN card, voter ID card, or driving license.

The UP PET exam will consist of 100 objective-type questions carrying a total of 100 marks, and the duration will be two hours. 0.25 marks will be deducted for each wrong answer. The paper will include questions related to general knowledge, general science, reasoning, elementary mathematics, current affairs and Hindi language.
