UPSSSC JE Exam Date: UPSSSC has released an important update regarding the Junior Engineer (JE Civil) Recruitment 2024. The Commission has announced the exam date for this recruitment. Under this recruitment, eligible candidates will be selected for a total of 4612 posts. 1761 posts are reserved for the General Category, 368 posts for EWS, 1514 posts for Other Backward Classes (OBC), 924 posts for Scheduled Castes (SC), and 45 posts for Scheduled Tribes (ST). Thus, a total of 4612 posts will be recruited for all categories combined.

When will the exam be held?
As per the Commission's decision, the written main examination for this recruitment will be held on May 3, 2026 (Sunday). This examination will be held from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm, so candidates who have applied for this recruitment should now intensify their preparation for the examination.
How will the selection be conducted?
To be selected for the Junior Engineer (Civil) recruitment, candidates will first have to appear for the written (main) examination. This examination will be conducted on relevant subjects and general knowledge. All candidates will be evaluated based on their marks obtained in the written examination.
Following the results of the written examination, the Commission will prepare a final merit list. This merit list will be prepared based on the candidates' performance and marks obtained.
