UPSC: Today is the last date to fill out the NDA/NA and CDS forms; complete the application process by 6 PM..

The deadline to apply for the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) recruitment exams—National Defence Academy & Naval Academy (NDA NA 2) and Combined Defence Services Examination (CDS 2)—was extended to 6:00 PM today, June 11, 2026. Candidates wishing to appear for these exams who have not yet completed the application process for any reason should do so immediately via the online portal. The application window will close at 6:00 PM.

**Apply Independently**
Candidates can complete the application process for both recruitment exams themselves by visiting the official website, upsconline.nic.in. For your convenience, the application steps and a direct link are provided here:

Visit the official website, upsconline.nic.in, to fill out the UPSC NDA/CDS online form for 2026.
On the home page, click on 'Create Account' and enter the required details to register.
After registration, log in to fill in the remaining details and complete the form.
Pay the prescribed fee (if applicable) and submit the form.
Once submitted, take a printout of the form and keep it safe for future reference.

**Application Fee**
Candidates must pay a fee of ₹100 for NDA NA posts and ₹200 for CDS recruitment. The fee can be paid online. Candidates belonging to the SC and ST categories are exempt from the application fee.

**Eligibility for NDA NA Posts**
To apply for National Defence Academy (NDA) posts, candidates must have passed the 12th standard (Intermediate) from a recognized board or institution. Additionally, for Naval Academy (NA/10+2 Cadet Entry Scheme) posts, candidates must have passed or be currently studying in the 12th standard with Physics and Mathematics as subjects. The candidate's age must be between 16.5 and 19 years. 

Eligibility for CDS Posts
To apply for UPSC CDS posts, candidates must hold a bachelor's or engineering degree from a recognized university or institution. Depending on the specific post, the age must be between a minimum of 19 years and a maximum of 24 or 25 years.
