UPSC Result 2025: DU dominates UPSC Civil Services Exam, 15 candidates make it to the top 30..
The UPSC Civil Services Examination 2025 results have been declared. This year, Delhi University (DU) has dominated the exam. Of the candidates securing the top 30 ranks in the Civil Services Examination, 15 are from Delhi University alone. In addition to DU, five IITians from Anna University in Chennai also made it to the top 30.
Apart from Delhi and Chennai, two candidates each from Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, and Chandigarh, three each from Bihar and Tamil Nadu, and one each from Haryana, Punjab, Telangana, and Gujarat secured a place in the top 30.
BE and BTech students also excelled
This year, the highest success rate was recorded for those taking the UPSC exam with Sociology as an optional subject. In addition to Arts and Commerce, those with BE/BTech (Engineering) degrees also achieved success. Among the top 30 candidates, 12 are Arts graduates, 5 are Commerce graduates, and 8 are BE/BTech graduates. Furthermore, only one is a Law graduate.
Anuj Agnihotri Achieves All India Rank 1
Anuj Agnihotri achieved All India Rank 1 in the UPSC Civil Services Examination. He is currently employed at DANICS. Agnihotri prepared for the Civil Services Examination with discipline during his training at DANICS. Anuj Agnihotri holds an MBBS degree and chose Medical Science as his major.
A Total of 958 Candidates Selected
A total of 958 candidates have been selected in the UPSC Civil Services Examination 2025 final merit list. Of these, 317 are from the General category, 104 from the EWS category, 304 from the OBC category, 158 from the SC category, and 73 from the ST category.
