The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has released the admit card for the Indian Forest Service (IFS) Mains Exam 2025. Those who applied for the exam can download their admit card from the official website, upsc.gov.in. According to the schedule, the UPSC IFS Mains Exam 2025 will be held from November 26th to November 23rd at various centers across the country. The exam will be held in two shifts each day: the first shift will be from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM, and the second shift will be from 2:30 PM to 5:30 PM. Candidates are required to bring a printout of their admit card and a valid photo ID to the exam center. Entry to the examination center will not be permitted without the admit card.
How to Download the Admit Card
To download the admit card for the UPSC IFS Mains Exam, first visit the UPSC's official website, upsc.gov.in.
Afterward, click on "E-Admit Card for Indian Forest Service (Main) Examination 2025" on the home page.
Select the option to log in with your registration ID or roll number.
Following this, enter your date of birth and the verification code displayed on the screen.
Click "Submit" to download the admit card.
Download and print the hall ticket for future reference.

What is the IFS Mains exam pattern?
The Indian Forest Service Mains exam consists of six papers. The first paper is General English, carrying 300 marks. The second paper is General Knowledge, also carrying 300 marks. The remaining three to six papers include two optional subjects selected from the official list. Each paper carries 200 marks. Each paper will be of three hours duration.
IFS Mains Exam Schedule
The UPSC IFS Mains Exam 2025 will begin on November 16th. The General English paper will be held in the morning shift on November 16th. This will be followed by the General Knowledge paper in the second shift.
On November 18th, Maths Paper-I / Statistics Paper-I will be held in the first shift, and Maths Paper-II / Statistics Paper-II will be held in the second shift.
On November 19th, Civil, Chemical, Mechanical Engineering / Zoology Paper-I will be held in the first shift, and Civil, Chemical, Mechanical Engineering / Zoology Paper-II will be held in the second shift.
Following this, on November 20th, Agricultural Engineering / Physics / Animal Husbandry Paper-I will be held in the first shift, and Agricultural Engineering / Physics / Animal Husbandry Paper-II will be held in the second shift.
On November 21st, Chemistry / Botany Paper-I will be held in the first shift, and Chemistry / Botany Paper-II will be held in the second shift.
On November 22nd, Geology Paper-I will be held in the first shift, and Geology Paper-II will be held in the second shift.
On November 23rd, Agriculture / Forestry Paper-I will be held in the first shift, and Agriculture / Forestry Paper-II will be held in the second shift.
