**Three New Exam Centers Added This Year**
This year, UPSC added three new examination centers—Kanpur and Meerut in Uttar Pradesh, and Bhubaneswar in Odisha—thereby easing the pressure on existing centers that handle large numbers of candidates. The total number of examination centers for the Civil Services Preliminary Examination has now risen from 80 to 83. According to the Commission, approximately 23,000 candidates opted to take the exam at these new centers.
