UPSC Prelims Admit Card 2024: Admit cards will be released soon for the UPSC Civil Service Exam, download like this

The Union Public Services Commission (UPSC) will soon conduct the Civil Services (Prelims) Examination 2024, which will be held across the country. The admit cards for the exam will be released soon and they can be downloaded from the official site upsc.gov.in. Candidates can follow the steps given below to download their admit cards.

The exam is scheduled on June 16, and around 1056 vacancies are expected to be filled through this exam, with 40 posts reserved for persons with benchmark disabilities. The exam date initially scheduled for May 26 was postponed due to elections. The admit card is likely to be released in the first week of June.

UPSC Prelims 2024 Admit Card Soon: Negative Marking in Exam

The UPSC Prelims exam will have two papers, each of which will be of 200 marks. General Studies Paper 1 will have 100 questions while CSAT will have 80 questions, with 2 hours allotted for each paper. There will be negative markings in the exam, with 1/3 marks deducted for each wrong answer. Candidates must carry a valid ID along with their admit card to the exam hall. Candidates who are successful in the preliminary exam will be eligible to appear for the main exam.

• A new page will appear on the screen.
• Enter the required details.
