UPSC NDA II, CDS II 2026: The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has extended the application deadline for the National Defence Academy and Naval Academy Examination-II (NDA, NA-II 2026) and the Combined Defence Services Examination-II (CDS-II 2026). According to the latest notice issued by the Commission, candidates can now submit their online applications until 6:00 PM on June 11, 2026.
The application process for both examinations began on May 20, 2026. Candidates who have not yet applied have now been granted additional time. Both the NDA-II and CDS-II examinations are scheduled to be held on September 13, 2026.

Recruitment for a total of 394 vacant posts will be conducted through NDA-II. The details of the posts are as follows:

Educational Qualification for NDA-II
For the Army Wing, candidates must have passed or be appearing for the Class 12 examination.
For the Navy and Air Force Wings, having Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics (PCM) as subjects in Class 12 is mandatory.
Age Limit
Candidates must have been born between January 1, 2008, and January 1, 2011 (both dates inclusive).

Educational Qualifications for CDS-II
A bachelor's degree in any discipline is required for IMA and OTA.
An engineering degree is mandatory for the Indian Naval Academy.
For the Air Force Academy, a bachelor's degree is required, along with having studied Mathematics and Physics at the 10+2 level.
Age Limit
For CDS-II 2026, the candidate must not have been born before July 1, 2003, or after July 1, 2008.
