UPSC NDA, NA-2 Exam 2026: The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has announced the date for the National Defence Academy (NDA) and Naval Academy (NA) Examination-II, 2026. The Commission will conduct this exam in two sessions on September 13, 2026. Candidates appearing for the exam can align their preparations with the official schedule.
Exam Timing
For the NDA and NA Examination-II, 2026, the Mathematics paper (Code 01) will be held from 10:00 AM to 12:30 PM. Meanwhile, the General Ability Test (Code 02) will take place from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM. UPSC had concluded the application process for this exam on June 11, 2026.
Marking Scheme and Selection Process
UPSC will recruit for a total of 394 vacancies through the NDA and NA-2, 2026 examination; of these, 370 posts are designated for male candidates and 24 for female candidates. The selection process comprises a Mathematics paper worth 300 marks and a General Ability Test worth 600 marks.
Candidates who qualify in the written examination will be called for the SSB interview, which includes intelligence and personality tests. This will be followed by group tasks, psychological assessments, and a medical examination. One mark will be awarded for each correct answer, while a negative marking of one-third (1/3) of a mark will apply for each incorrect answer. The duration for both question papers will be 2.5 hours.
