**Commencement with General English on 22 November**
The Main Examination will begin on 22 November with the General English paper. This paper will be held in the morning shift.
The General Knowledge paper will be conducted in the afternoon shift on the same day.
The following day, i.e., 23 November, both papers for Mathematics and Zoology candidates will be held.
**No Exam on 24 November**
There will be no examination on 24 November 2026. This day has been designated as a gazetted holiday in the UPSC schedule. Subsequently, the subject-wise Main Examination will proceed from 25 November.
**Final Papers on 28 and 29 November**
Both Physics papers will be held on 28 November. Physics Paper-1 will be conducted in the morning shift, and Paper-2 in the afternoon shift.
