UPSC IES, ISS Exam Dates: The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has released the official schedule for the IES (Indian Engineering Services) and ISS (Indian Statistical Services) examinations. Candidates can now view and download this schedule via the official UPSC website, upsc.gov.in.

The schedule clearly outlines the date, time, and examination type (objective or descriptive) for each subject and paper. Candidates can download the schedule in PDF format and also print it out.

What are the IES and ISS Exams?
The IES (Indian Engineering Services) examination is for engineering graduates who wish to work in the technical departments of the Government of India. It is conducted by the UPSC. The examination consists of three parts: Preliminary (objective-type questions), Main (written/descriptive questions), and Interview. Successful candidates are appointed to the post of Engineer in government departments.

The ISS (Indian Statistical Services) examination is intended for those who wish to work in the field of government statistics and data. A degree in Mathematics, Statistics, or Economics is a prerequisite for this examination. It is conducted by the UPSC and also comprises Preliminary, Main, and Interview stages. Upon qualifying, candidates are appointed as officers in national and state statistical departments.
