Exam Date
The UPSC Geo-Scientist Preliminary Examination will be conducted on February 8, 2026. The exam will be held in two shifts. The first shift will be from 9:30 AM to 11:30 AM and the second shift will be from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM. The exam will consist of questions totaling 400 marks. Paper-1 will have questions worth 100 marks and Paper-2 will have questions worth 300 marks. Candidates who qualify in this examination will be invited for the main examination.
