UPSC ESE Prelims Admit Card 2026: If you have applied for the UPSC Engineering Services Examination, here's a major update for you. The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has released the admit cards for the Engineering Services (Preliminary) Examination 2026. Candidates who applied for this recruitment can now download their hall tickets from the commission's official website.

Exam on February 8th
According to the UPSC schedule, the Engineering Services Preliminary Examination will be held on February 8, 2026.  The application process for this recruitment began on September 26, 2025, and the last date to fill out the form was October 16, 2025. Now, just a few days before the exam, the commission has activated the admit card link.

Recruitment for a total of 474 posts
This time, UPSC aims to fill a total of 474 posts through the Engineering Services Examination. This includes students from Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, and Telecommunication Engineering streams. Candidates will have to go through three stages for selection:

Preliminary Examination
Main Examination
Interview

How to download your admit card?
First, open the UPSC website upsc.gov.in on your mobile or computer.
On the homepage, you will see the 'Admit Card' section; click on it.
Go to the link for 'Engineering Services (Preliminary) Examination, 2026'.
Now enter your Registration ID or Roll Number and your Date of Birth.
Upon submitting the details, your admit card will appear on the screen.
Download it and be sure to take a printout.

Keep these things in mind at the exam center.
After downloading the admit card, carefully check your photo, name, and the address of the exam center mentioned on it. On the day of the exam, do not forget to carry a valid photo ID proof (such as an Aadhaar card or Voter ID) along with your admit card. If you find any errors in the admit card, contact UPSC immediately.
