UPSC ESE 2025: According to the official notification for the Engineering Services Examination (ESE) 2025 by the Union Public Service Commission, 232 vacancies are to be filled in the UPSC Engineering Services Examination 2025 in four major engineering subjects Civil, Mechanical, Electrical and Telecommunication. The application window for this exam is going to close today. Interested and eligible candidates can fill out their application form from the official website upsc.gov.in. Registration Fee
Candidates can pay the application fee online through Visa/Master/Rupay Credit/Debit Card, UPI, or Internet Banking. Offline payment through cash at any SBI branch is also accepted.
General/OBC Candidates: Rs 200
Female/SC/ST/PwBD Candidates: Fee exempted.
Selection Process
The selection process for the UPSC Engineering Services Exam consists of three stages:
Preliminary Examination: An objective type examination consisting of two papers i.e. Paper I (General Studies and Engineering Aptitude) and Paper II (specific to the engineering discipline of the candidate).
Main Examination: A descriptive type examination consisting of two papers related to the engineering discipline chosen.
Interview: Candidates who clear the main examination will be called for an interview.
Age Relaxation
Candidates should be between 21 and 30 years of age as of 1st January 2025 for the UPSC Engineering Services Exam. This means candidates must not have been born before 2nd January 1995 and after 1st January 2004. Reserved categories will be given relaxation in the upper age limit.
