UPSC ESE 2024: Marks of candidates qualified in Engineering Services Main Exam released, check on official website..

UPSC ESE Mains Result 2024: The Union Public Service Commission has declared the result of the recommended candidates declared successful in the Engineering Services (Main) Examination, 2024. Candidates who have appeared in the Engineering Services (Main) Examination, 2024, and have been declared qualified can check their marks by visiting the official website upsc.gov.in.

206 candidates were declared qualified

The result of the UPSC ESE Mains exam was declared on November 23, 2024. This time Rohit Dhongde topped the exam, while Harshit Pandey and Laxmikant stood second and third respectively.

A total of 206 candidates have been recommended for appointment, out of which 92 are in Civil Engineering, 18 in Mechanical Engineering, 26 in Electrical Engineering, and 70 E&T Engineering candidates. The General category has the highest number of recommended candidates (71), followed by OBC (59), SC (34), EWS (22) and ST (20).

The candidature of 43 recommended candidates is provisional, out of which 17 are from Civil Engineering, 2 from Mechanical Engineering, 6 from Electrical Engineering, and 18 from Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering.

Target to fill 251 posts
The UPSC Engineering Services Exam was conducted in June 2024 and the interview or personality test was held on 7, 8, 9, 10, 14, 15, 16, 17, 18, 21, 22, 23, 24, 25 October and 4, 5, 6 November 2024. The interview was conducted in two shifts- a first shift from 9 am and second shift from 1 pm. Under this recruitment drive, 251 vacancies will be filled in the organization across the country.
