UPSC CSE Result 2023: The final result of UPSC Civil Services Examination 2023 is in the headlines at this time. The final result of 1016 candidates has been released against 1143 vacancies. UPSC has reserved a list of 240 candidates. According to the report, out of 1016 selected candidates in this result, only 42 candidates are from the Hindi medium. Out of these 42 candidates, one has English medium as his optional because one of his subjects is Chemistry.
According to the report, out of 42 candidates selected in Hindi medium in the UPSC Civil Services Examination, 29 had Hindi literature as their optional subject. Whereas the optional subjects of four candidates each are history and geography. Two candidates are from Philosophy, one from Political Science, and one from Chemistry. The remaining one candidate's optional is Gujarati Literature.
Most of the people who cracked UPSC through Hindi medium are from Rajasthan.
Out of the 42 Hindi medium candidates who have been finalized in UPSC, 18 are from Rajasthan alone. UP is in second place with 12 selections. Whereas nine Hindi medium candidates have been selected from MP. Only 1 Hindi medium candidate has been selected from Bihar. Apart from this, one selection each has been made from Chhattisgarh and Gujarat.
500 Hindi medium candidates had taken the mains exam.
According to the report, about 15000 candidates appeared in the UPSC Civil Services Examination Main Examination. Out of which 1400 candidates were of English medium. Whereas Hindi medium had only 500. If we look at the passout percentage, the final selection was 42 out of 500. Whereas 950 out of 1400 were selected for English Medium.
