Approximately 5.49 lakh candidates who appeared for the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) Civil Services Examination are eagerly awaiting the preliminary exam results. The preliminary examination was conducted nationwide on May 24 across two shifts, carrying a total of 400 marks. Following the exam, the UPSC released a provisional answer key on May 28 to facilitate the evaluation of responses. According to various media reports, the results could be released soon. Along with the results, the cut-off list and the names of the toppers will also be announced.

The UPSC will soon release the preliminary exam results. Once the results are declared, candidates will be able to view and download their results by following the steps outlined below:

**Number of vacancies**
According to the official UPSC notification, a total of 933 candidates will be recruited through this examination. The exam was held on May 24 at various centers across the country. It was conducted in two shifts: the first shift took place from 9:30 AM to 11:30 AM, and the second shift was held from 2:30 PM to 4:30 PM.
