UPSC CSE Interview 2025: UPSC releases new interview schedule, personality test to be held on this date..

Big news has emerged for candidates who have successfully cleared the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) Civil Services Main Examination. The interviews for candidates who were declared successful in the UPSC Main Examination and were scheduled to appear for the interview have been postponed to a new date. The UPSC has postponed the interviews due to the 'full dress rehearsal' of the Republic Day parade in Delhi. According to the official UPSC notification, the interview was initially scheduled for February 27th.

New Interview Date
According to the new official UPSC notification, the interview will now be held on February 27, 2026.  This gives candidates who were scheduled to appear for the interview additional time to prepare. Candidates can now further refine their preparation until February 27th. According to the official UPSC notification, the interview on February 27th will be held in the morning session. It should be noted that there are no changes to the dates for the remaining interviews.

Interview Venue
Candidates who have been shortlisted for the interview must report to the UPSC office at Dholpur House, Shahjahan Road, New Delhi, before 9:00 AM on February 27, 2026. The interview time for the afternoon session is scheduled for 1:00 PM.

Required Documents
Candidates appearing for the UPSC interview must bring their e-summon letter, original educational certificates, graduation degree, caste certificate, photograph, and identity proof, along with passport-size photographs, on the day of the interview.
