Total Vacancies and Reservation Details
UPSC has announced 933 vacancies to be filled through CSE 2026. This figure includes 33 posts reserved for Persons with Benchmark Disabilities (PwBD). The category-wise PwBD reservation is as follows:

Major Update: Indian Language Paper Not Mandatory for Certain States
In a significant update, UPSC has clarified that Paper A (Indian Language) in the Mains examination will not be compulsory for candidates belonging to the following states:
