How many candidates were selected in which category?
The UPSC selected 958 candidates based on merit. Of these, 317 were from the General category, while 306 were from the OBC category, 158 from the SC category, and 104 from the EWS category. 73 candidates from the ST category have been successful. The total number of candidates qualified includes 42 candidates from the PwBD category.
958 out of 2,736 candidates have been successful.
2,736 candidates were selected for the interview round of the UPSC Civil Services Examination 2025 after the Mains exam. Following the interviews, the final merit list was released, with 958 candidates successful.
