UPSC CMS 2025 Registration: The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has issued a notification for new recruitment. UPSC has started the online application process for the Combined Medical Service Examination (CMS 2025). This year the commission has released recruitment for 705 posts for MBBS doctors. Candidates who want to appear for the UPSC CMS 2025 exam can apply by visiting the official website of the commission upsc.gov.in or upsconline.gov.in. Before applying, all the candidates have to create their one-time registration (OTR) profile. The last date to register for the UPSC CMS Exam 2025 is 11 March 2025. According to the notification, corrections in the UPSC CMS 2025 application form can be done from 12 March to 18 March 2025.

Medical Officer Grade in General Duty Medical Officer Sub-Cadre of Central Health Service - 226 posts
Category-II
Assistant Divisional Medical Officer in Railways - 450 posts
General Duty Medical Officer in New Delhi Municipal Council - 9 posts
General Duty Medical Officer Grade-II in Delhi Municipal Corporation - 20 posts
UPSC CMS 2025: Age Limit
To apply for posts other than Medical Officers Grade in General Duty Medical Officers Sub-Cadre of Central Health Service, the age of the candidate should be less than 32 years on 1 August 2025. At the same time, for the posts of Category 2, the candidates should not have been born before 2 August 1993.
For Category 1 (Medical Officers Grade in General Duty Medical Officers Sub-Cadre of Central Health Services) post, the upper age limit should not exceed 35 (thirty-five years) as of August 1, 2025. Reserved categories will get relaxation as per government rules.
UPSC CMS 2025: Exam on July 20
UPSC CMS Exam 2025 will be conducted by the Commission on July 20. At the same time, the admit card will be released on the UPSC site two weeks before the exam. Candidates will be able to download the UPSC CMS 2025 Admit Card using login credentials.
UPSC CMS 2025: Essential Qualification
The candidate should be an MBBS graduate. Candidates who are yet to appear in the final examination or have already passed can also apply for it. Provided that they have to submit proof of passing the examination within the time limit mentioned in the exam notification.
Candidates who have not yet completed the mandatory rotating internship are eligible to appear in the exam, but if selected, they will be appointed only after completing the mandatory rotating internship.
Along with this, the candidate must be physically and mentally fit.
UPSC CMS 2025: Application Fee
General category candidates will have to pay a fee of Rs 200 for the UPSC Combined Medical Service Exam 2025. At the same time, Scheduled Caste, Scheduled Tribe, Divyang, and Women candidates are exempted from paying the application fee. The application fee has to be paid in online mode.
