UPSC CMS 2025 exam on 20th July, Commission issued necessary guidelines

The CMS exam of Union Public Services Commission (UPSC) will be held on 20th July in two shifts. The commission has released the admit card, time and necessary guidelines for the exam.

The Combined Medical Services Exam (CMS) to be conducted by the Union Public Services Commission (UPSC) is being conducted this time on 20th July 2025, Sunday. The exam will be conducted in two shifts across the country. All the candidates appearing for the examination have been advised to download their e-admit card from the official website of the commission upsc.gov.in in time.

This exam will be conducted in two shifts, first shift from 9:30 am to 11:30 am (Subject: General Medicine and Pediatrics). Second shift: 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm (Subject: Surgery, Gynecology and Obstetrics, Preventive and Social Medicine).

The commission has clarified that entry to the examination center will be allowed only till half an hour before the start of the examination. That is, entry to the center will be possible only till 9 am for the first shift and 1:30 pm for the second shift. After this, no candidate will be allowed to enter.

To maintain security and fairness at the examination center, candidates are allowed to carry limited items.

Valid Identification Card (ID Proof)

Passport Size Photo (If Required)

Ordinary Wrist Watch (Not Smart and Digital)

Any Electronic Device

There will be no arrangement to keep these items at the examination center. If a candidate brings these items, then it will be his responsibility to keep them safe outside. The commission will not be responsible for any loss.

Without e-admit card, you will not be allowed to enter the exam

To appear in the exam, it is mandatory for the candidate to carry his e-admit card and a valid photo identity card. If a candidate is unable to show these documents, he will not be allowed to sit in the exam.
