Union Public Service Commission i.e. UPSC has released the timetable of CDS II Exam 2025. Candidates appearing for this Combined Defense Services (II) exam can check the complete schedule by visiting the official website of UPSC upsc.gov.in. According to the schedule, the CDS II exam will be conducted on 14 September 2025. This exam will be held in three shifts and each shift will be of two hours. The application process for UPSC CDS II has recently closed on 20 June. UPSC aims to fill a total of 453 posts through the Combined Defense Services Examination.

General Knowledge - 12:30 pm to 2:30 pm
Elementary Mathematics - 4 pm to 6 pm

The CDS exam is held twice a year
CDS i.e. Combined Defense Services exam is conducted twice a year by UPSC. CDS I is conducted in February and CDS II in September. CDS II exam is for those candidates who want to become officers in the Indian Army, Navy or Air Force.

Salary and Posting
During training, the selected candidates get a stipend of Rs 56,100 per month and after completion of training, they are appointed to the post of Lieutenant, after which their initial salary ranges from Rs 56,100 to Rs 1,77,500. Apart from salary, they also get many other types of allowances and facilities like accommodation, ration, medical, LTC.
