CDS 2 Exam 2026 Date Announced: The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has released the exam date for the Combined Defence Services (CDS) Examination-II, 2026. The CDS 2 exam will be held on September 13, 2026. This examination is conducted for recruitment to officer-rank positions in the Indian Army, Navy, Air Force, and Officers Training Academy (OTA).

The Commission has clarified that the entry gates of the examination center will be closed 30 minutes before the start of each session. No candidate will be allowed to enter the examination center after this time. Therefore, candidates are advised to reach the examination center well in advance.
