This is great news for young people seeking government jobs. The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has announced new recruitment for the posts of CGPDTM Examiner and Deputy Director.
Through this recruitment, more than 100 positions of Trademark and Geographical Indications Examiner will be filled in the Office of the Controller General of Patents, Designs and Trademarks. The application process has started, and interested candidates can apply on the official UPSC website.
For the Trademark and GI Examiner positions, candidates must have a degree in Law from a recognized university. They must also have at least two years of experience in trademarks, patents, or legal matters.
The age limit is a maximum of 30 years for General and EWS candidates, 33 years for OBC candidates, 35 years for SC/ST candidates, and 40 years for PwBD (Persons with Benchmark Disabilities) candidates. Selected candidates will receive a salary according to Level 7 of the 7th Central Pay Commission. This is a permanent position with a two-year probation period. The headquarters for this position will be in New Delhi.
In addition, the UPSC is also recruiting for two Deputy Director positions. For the Deputy Director position, candidates must have a Ph.D. degree from a recognized university or institution. The Ph.D. subject can be in fields such as Humanities, Science, Commerce, Engineering or Technology, Law, Management, Finance, or Accounting.
The candidate should have at least five years of experience in teaching, research, curriculum development, examination reform, or work related to online examinations. A one-year diploma in computer applications and two years of experience in software-related work will be given preference.
Selected candidates for the Deputy Director position will receive a salary according to Level-11 of the 7th Pay Commission. The maximum age limit for OBC candidates is 43 years and for SC candidates is 45 years.
