UPSC 2023 Reserve List: The Union Public Services Commission (UPSC) has released the reserve list for the Civil Services Examination 2023. 120 additional candidates have been included in this list, including 88 from the General category, 5 from EWS, 23 from OBC, 3 from SC, and 1 from the ST category. All these candidates have been selected based on merit and will fill the remaining vacancies in prestigious posts like IAS, IFS, and IPS. However, the selection of 30 of these candidates is still provisional.

UPSC released the prelims result of the 2023 Civil Services Examination on April 16 this year, in which 1,016 candidates were selected. These included 664 men and 352 women, while the top 25 candidates included 10 women and 15 men. In this exam, the cutoff was 923 for EWS category, 919 for OBC, 890 for SC, 891 for ST, 894 for PwBD-1, 930 for PwBD-2, 756 for PwBD-3 and 589 marks for PwBD-5 category.

The purpose of this examination was to fill 1,143 vacant posts in various government services. The recently released reserve list now includes additional candidates ranked based on merit, who are part of the main list.
