MPSC training test cancelled: The screening test for MPSC Combined Group B and Group C exam training in Maharashtra was cancelled following reports of mismanagement at two examination centers. Students faced various difficulties at the centers in Ambegaon (Pune) and Nanded during the screening test organized by the Mahatma Jyotiba Phule Research and Training Institute (MahaJyoti) and the Vasantrao Naik Research and Training Institute (VANARTI). Complaints regarding an insufficient number of computers, technical glitches, and the failure to start the exam on time were raised by the students. Consequently, the decision was made to cancel the exam at both centers.

**Disruption at two exam centers**
According to a report by *The Indian Express*, officials stated that the screening test held at Sun Bright English Medium School in Ambegaon (Pune) and the Marathwada Online Exam Center in Nanded has been cancelled. Students arriving to take the exam at these centers encountered a shortage of computers and technical issues. Videos emerging from the exam centers showed students voicing their grievances. They complained that there were not enough computers available for the exam. Furthermore, the examination process was hampered by computer and other technical problems, preventing the exam from commencing at the scheduled time.

**Decision taken following student complaints**
MahaJyoti decided to cancel the exam in light of the situation at the centers and the complaints lodged by students. Officials clarified that the screening test would be re-conducted for the students affected at the two centers where the exam was cancelled. MahaJyoti Managing Director Milind Naringe and VANARTI Director Prashant Waghe announced the cancellation via a circular, confirming that the screening test would be held again for students from the affected centers.

**Awaiting the date for the re-examination**
Following the cancellation, the affected students are now awaiting the date for the rescheduled examination. The institutes have stated that further instructions regarding this matter will be published on the websites of Mahajyoti and VANARTI; in other words, students whose exams at these two centers have been cancelled must currently wait for updates to be released on the official websites for the new exam date and related information.
