UPPSC RO-ARO: The Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission (UPPSC) Review Officer/Assistant Review Officer (RO/ARO) Main Examination-2023 will be held on January 31 and February 1, 2026. The main examination is conducted in three stages, with a total of 400 marks. Therefore, candidates should now focus on finalizing their preparation.

It will include subjects related to General Science and Environment, History and Culture, Indian Polity and Economy, Indian Agriculture, Commerce and Trade, Geography of India and the World, General Mental Ability, and Education, Culture, Lifestyle, and Social Practices of Uttar Pradesh. Current Affairs is considered the most important section of this examination, with an average of 30-35 questions asked. For this, studying international, national, and state-level events of the past year is sufficient. This question paper will be objective type.
General Hindi and Essay Writing
This section will require writing the title, summary, and explanation of the underlined passages from the given passage in the question paper. It will also include précis writing of government letters, official and semi-official correspondence, circulars, notifications, etc. Questions based on computer, administrative and commercial terminology, idioms and proverbs, and Hindi-English word translation will also be asked. This part will be descriptive, while questions related to general word knowledge and grammar will be objective type.
Flow in Essay Writing
The essay section will have three parts, from each of which one essay of 600 words has to be written. Choose essay topics where you can incorporate data, examples, and social and political perspectives. Also, don't forget to include official statistics, idioms, and quotes from famous people to make the essay more effective and balanced.

To clear all these stages of the exam, it is essential to give as many correct answers as possible, and for this, consistent practice with accuracy is crucial. This is only possible if you take a mock test every day. After the test, analyze your incorrect answers and improve on your weaknesses.
