UPPSC RO ARO Mains Exam Date 2025: The Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission has announced the dates for the Review Officer (RO) and Assistant Review Officer (ARO) 2023 Main Examination. The Commission's Deputy Secretary, Virendra Mani Tripathi, issued a notification in this regard. This examination for government jobs in Uttar Pradesh will be held on January 31 and February 1, 2026. 7,509 candidates were declared successful in the UPPSC RO ARO Prelims Examination.

This examination will select eligible candidates for a total of 419 posts, including 338 Review Officer posts and 79 Assistant Review Officer posts. The result of the preliminary examination was declared on September 16, 2025. By position, 6,093 candidates have qualified for the Review Officer position, 1,386 for the Assistant Review Officer position, and 30 for the two ARO Accounts positions.

RO/ARO Main Exam 2023 Date and Time
The Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission has released the detailed schedule for the Review Officer and Assistant Review Officer (RO/ARO) Main Exam 2023. The exam will be conducted over two days.

January 31, 2026: General Studies and General Hindi/Drafting

On the first day, January 31, 2026, two question papers will be conducted in two shifts:

First Shift (General Studies)
Time: 9:30 AM to 11:30 AM.
Question Paper: This question paper will be objective-type, similar to the General Studies paper of the Preliminary Examination.

Second Shift (General Hindi and Drafting)
Time: 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM.
Question Paper Structure: This second paper will be divided into two sections. A total of 3 hours is allotted for this.
Section One (Subjective): From 2:00 pm to 4:30 pm, there will be subjective General Hindi and Drafting papers.
Section Two (General Vocabulary and Grammar): From 4:30 pm to 5:00 pm, there will be an objective test on General Vocabulary and Grammar.

February 1, 2026: Hindi Essay
The final paper will be held on the second day, i.e., February 1, 2026:
Time: 9:30 am to 12:30 pm.
Question Paper: This will be the Hindi Essay paper, with a 3-hour time limit.
