UPPSC RO ARO Final Result 2023: The Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission (UPPSC) has released the final results for the RO/ARO Examination 2023 on its official website, uppsc.up.nic.in. Thousands of young aspirants had been eagerly awaiting these results in hopes of securing a government job. The Commission has declared a total of 419 candidates successful in the Review Officer (RO) and Assistant Review Officer (ARO) Examination-2023. This includes 338 candidates selected as Review Officers and 81 as Assistant Review Officers.

In the UPPSC RO ARO 2023 final results, Anil Pandey has topped the list, securing the first rank across the state. Aditya Pratap Singh secured the second position, while Lakshmi Verma emerged victorious in the women's category, securing the third position in the overall merit list. A notable highlight is the strong dominance of women within the top 10 list; furthermore, a total of 64 female candidates have successfully secured a place for themselves throughout the entire recruitment process. **A Beginning Under the Shadow of Controversy**

This recruitment process has been one of the most talked-about and challenging examinations in the history of the Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission. It began with the receipt of a record-breaking number of applications—exceeding 10 lakh (one million). However, the preliminary examination, originally held on February 11, 2024, had to be cancelled due to a paper leak controversy. Following this, and after intense protests by candidates and a lengthy investigation, the examinations were subsequently re-conducted.

**Main Examination and Selection Process**

The main examination was conducted under a strict security cordon on February 2 and 3, 2026, wherein 5,930 candidates appeared to test their fortunes. Subsequently, the Hindi typing test—a mandatory requirement for the posts of Assistant Review Officer—was held between February 16 and 19. Ashok Kumar, the Secretary of the Commission, has clarified that the declared results are currently provisional (conditional).
