**Recruitment for 814 Posts**
UPPSC is conducting recruitment for a total of 814 posts under the Provincial Subordinate Services (PCS) 2025 examination. A total of 28 different types of posts are to be filled. According to the notification, selection for two vacancies of a specific post type is to be based solely on the written examination; meaning, there will be no interview for these posts. However, the results for candidates selected for these posts will be released alongside the final results for the other posts.

**Result Subject to Court Decision**
UPPSC has clarified that the result of the PCS 2025 Mains (written) examination will be subject to the court's decision. The UPPSC has stated that Writ Petition No. 4253/2026 and the case of Archit Shivam Mishra vs. State of Uttar Pradesh & Others are currently pending in the Allahabad High Court. The result will be subject to the court's verdict in these matters.
