UPPSC PCS 2026: The Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission (UPPSC) has extended the application deadline for the PCS 2026 examination. Candidates can now apply until August 3. The initial advertisement, released on June 25, 2026, had set July 27 as the deadline for applications. The deadline for fee submission has also been extended to August 3. Furthermore, the deadline for making corrections or modifications to the application and resolving fee-related issues has been extended from August 3 to August 10.

According to the UPPSC PCS 2026 notification, there are a total of 500 vacancies for Group A and Group B posts in the state; however, the number of vacancies may increase. The Commission has stated that claims regarding category, sub-category, domicile, gender, date of birth, EWS status, creamy layer status, name, and address will be considered valid only if made by the application and modification deadline.

**Eligibility for UP PCS**
A Bachelor’s degree from any recognized university is mandatory. Certain specific posts may require additional or specialized educational qualifications.

**Age Limit**

Generally 21 to 40 years (as of July 1, 2026). Reserved categories will be granted age relaxation as per the rules.

**Application Fee**

For General, OBC, and EWS category candidates, the application fee (including online processing charges) is ₹125. For SC/ST category candidates, it is ₹65. For differently-abled candidates, the fee is ₹25, and for ex-servicemen, it is ₹65.
