The Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission (UPPSC) has announced the dates for the Assistant Teacher Trained Graduate (TGT) Preliminary Examination 2025. The Commission has announced the schedule for the preliminary examination for nine subjects: Social Science, Biology, English, Physical Education, Art, Agriculture and Horticulture, Urdu, and Music.
The Social Science examination will be held on January 17, 2026, in the first shift from 9:00 am to 11:00 am. The Biology examination will be held in the second shift on the same day from 3:00 pm to 5:00 pm. The following day, on January 18, the English examination will be held in the first shift and the Physical Education examination in the second shift.
The TGT Arts examination will be held in the first shift on January 24, while the Agriculture and Horticulture examinations will be held in the second shift. On January 25, the Urdu examination will be held in the first shift and the Music examination in the second shift.
Over 1.2 million applications
The Commission has accepted applications for 7,466 posts in 15 subjects. Over 1.236 million candidates have applied for this recruitment. The Commission invited applications for the LT Grade recruitment from July 28th to August 28th. The recruitment will cover 4,860 positions for men, 2,525 for women, and 21 for persons with disabilities.
Exams for six subjects have already been conducted.
Previously, the Commission announced the schedule for recruitment exams for six subjects on September 20th. The exam dates for the six subjects: Mathematics, Hindi, Science, Sanskrit, Home Science, and Commerce have already been announced. The exam date for the remaining subject will be announced later by the Commission.
