UP Police SI: The Uttar Pradesh Police Recruitment and Promotion Board (UPPRPB), Lucknow, has released the admit card for the Stenography/Dictation (Transcription) exam for candidates for the post of Sub-Inspector of Police (Confidential). Candidates appearing for this exam can download their admit card by visiting the recruitment board's official website, uppbpb.gov.in.

Exam to be held on February 28
The Transcription (Transcription) exam will be held on February 28, 2026, at the designated exam center in Gautam Buddha Nagar district. The board has clarified that candidates must ensure they appear at the exam center on the scheduled date and time. Candidates can now download their admit card from the board's official website, uppbpb.gov.in.

What will the status show?
Candidates who applied for the Sub-Inspector of Police (Confidential) and have passed the computer typing test will see the status "You are qualified. Download your admit card for the stenography test." displayed in their login. Candidates who fail to pass the typing test will display a status of 'Sorry, you are not qualified and not shortlisted for the stenography test.'

Candidates who have not applied for the relevant post or are attempting with incorrect login details will display the message 'Invalid Login credentials.'
