UPMSP: Over 900 schools have yet to submit their student lists; UP Board extends the deadline once again..
The Uttar Pradesh Madhyamik Shiksha Parishad (UPMSP) has once again extended the deadline for submitting student lists for the 2026-27 academic session. According to the issued notice, the concerned schools can now complete the pending process by October 26, 2026. This provides additional time to 940 schools across the state that were unable to prepare and download their student lists within the previously set deadline.
The Board has instructed the principals of the respective schools to prepare and download the student lists and submit them—along with the prescribed challan—to the office of the District Inspector of Schools (DIOS). Principals who fail to complete the process within the stipulated time will be held accountable.

Schools must complete all pending formalities within this new deadline.
Previously, 5,905 Schools Had Failed to Complete the Process
Prior to this, the UP Board had issued a notice on October 16, 2026, regarding an extension of the deadline for the submission of student lists. At that time, the Board had extended the deadline from October 15 to October 22, 2026. During that phase, 5,905 schools in the state were unable to complete the process within the stipulated time. Now, through a new notification issued on October 23, an additional opportunity has been provided to the 940 schools that have yet to complete the process. These schools have been instructed to submit their student lists by October 26.
Accountability to be fixed for failure to submit lists on time
The Board has clarified that the principals of the respective schools must complete the process within the prescribed timeframe. Failure to do so will result in the determination of their accountability. Therefore, the affected schools should not delay the process of submitting student lists and the associated payment challans.
Important advice for students and parents
Students in classes 9th through 12th, along with their parents, should contact their respective schools to confirm whether the registration or examination application process has been completed. For official notifications and instructions, please visit the UP Board website at upmsp.edu.in.
