The Uttar Pradesh Education Service Selection Commission (UPESSC), Prayagraj, has issued certificates for candidates declared successful in the Uttar Pradesh Teacher Eligibility Test (UPTET-2026). Candidates can access these by entering their roll number and date of birth via the link available on the Commission's official website, www.upessc.up.gov.in.
Commission Chairman Dr. Prashant Kumar stated that the UPTET-2026 written examination was conducted in two shifts each on July 2 and 3, 2026, and in a single shift on July 4, spanning a total of five shifts. The exam was held at 955 centers across 60 districts of the state. These included three shifts for the upper primary level and two shifts for the primary level.
**Result Declared on August 26**
He noted that the exam results were declared on August 26, 2026. A total of 7,13,648 candidates appeared for the primary level (Classes 1 to 5) examination, out of whom 5,71,435 were declared successful; the success rate at this level was 80.07%. Meanwhile, 10,57,021 candidates appeared for the upper primary level (Classes 6 to 8) examination, with 7,59,513 declared successful, resulting in a success rate of 71.85%.
**Certificates Available on DigiLocker**
According to Chairman Dr. Prashant Kumar, certificates for all successful candidates have been issued following the declaration of results. Candidates can download their certificates by entering their roll number and date of birth via the link on the UPESSC website (www.upessc.up.gov.in). To further facilitate candidates, the Commission has also initiated the process of making certificates available via DigiLocker; they will soon be accessible on the platform, making it even more convenient for successful candidates to obtain their certificates. Dr. Prashant Kumar extended his best wishes to all the successful candidates of UPTET-2026.
