UPESSC Result: UP Lecturer Recruitment 2022 result released; here’s how to check it..

UPESSC Result: After a long wait, the Uttar Pradesh Education Service Selection Commission (UPESSC), Prayagraj, announced the final results on Tuesday for the 2022 recruitment of Lecturers (Male and Female) in aided non-government secondary schools. The Commission has released the list of candidates selected for 624 posts across 18 subjects. Subject-wise and category-wise selection lists have been made available on the Commission's official website.

Commission Chairman Dr. Prashant Kumar stated that this recruitment was conducted under Advertisement No. 02/2022. The final selection list was issued following the completion of the entire process, comprising the written examination, document verification, and interviews. He noted that, in accordance with Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath's directives, the Commission prioritizes a transparent, fair, and time-bound recruitment process. With this objective in mind, the entire selection process was conducted with integrity and transparency.

Interviews held from June 15 to 27
Dr. Prashant Kumar informed that the written examination for the 2022 Lecturer recruitment was held on May 9 and 10, 2026. Subsequently, interviews for successful candidates were conducted from June 15 to June 27, 2026. The final result has now been declared following the completion of all stages.

Selections were made for posts across 18 subjects, including Physics, Biology, Home Science, History, Education, English, Agriculture, Commerce, Sociology, Civics, Mathematics, Economics, Sanskrit, Psychology, Chemistry, Geography, Hindi, and Art. The Commission has also made information regarding cut-off marks and category-wise selection for all these subjects available on its website.

How to check the result

The Commission Chairman stated that candidates would be able to view their marks for the next week by logging into the official website (https://upessc.up.gov.in/) using their registration number and date of birth. Thereafter, no information regarding marks will be provided under the Right to Information (RTI) Act, 2005. He also stated that, in accordance with the provisions of the Uttar Pradesh Secondary Education Services Selection Board Rules, 1998, the process of institutional allocation will soon be completed based on the institutional preferences submitted online by the candidates and the declared selection panel. Following this, the next steps regarding the appointment of the selected candidates will commence.
