UPESSC UP PGT Exam Cancelled: Uttar Pradesh Education Service Selection Commission has once again postponed the examination of Lecturer (PGT) Recruitment 2022 in aided secondary schools. The exam was proposed on 18 and 19 June.

Exam will be held in the last week of August

It was decided to postpone the examination in the meeting of the commission on Tuesday. The notice issued by the commission also states the revised possible date of the examination. The commission has said that now this examination will be held in the last week of August. The new exam date will be released soon.

According to Devendra Pratap Singh, Secretary-in-charge of the Commission, it has been decided to conduct the examination in the last week of August but the new exam date has not been announced yet.

Earlier the PGT recruitment exam was to be held on 20 and 21 June 2025 but the commission had rescheduled it to 18-19 June. However, the commission has postponed the examination once again.

Recruitment is to be done on 624 posts
Online applications were taken for 624 posts of PGT in 2022. At that time 4,64,605 ​​candidates had applied. 745 candidates are contenders for one post. It is worth noting that the written examination of Trained Graduate (TGT) is proposed on 21st and 22nd July.
