UPESSC Exam Calendar 2026: The Uttar Pradesh Education Services Selection Commission (UPESSC), Prayagraj, has released the exam calendar for various examinations to be held in the year 2026. According to the official release issued by the Commission, the Assistant Professor, Lecturer (PGT), Trained Graduate Teacher (TGT), and UP TET 2026 examinations will be held on the scheduled dates.
UPESSC Exam Calendar 2026: When and which exam?
According to the released calendar, the Assistant Professor (Advertisement No. 51) examination will be held on April 18, 2026 (Saturday) and April 19, 2026 (Sunday). The Lecturer (PGT) Recruitment (Advertisement No. 02/2022) examination will be held on May 9, 2026 (Saturday) and May 10, 2026 (Sunday).
Additionally, the Assistant Teacher (TGT) Recruitment Examination (Advertisement No. 01/2022) is scheduled for June 3, 2026 (Wednesday) and June 4, 2026 (Thursday). The Commission has also announced that the UP Teacher Eligibility Test (UP TET) 2026 will be held on July 2, 2026 (Thursday), July 3, 2026 (Friday), and July 4, 2026 (Saturday).

The Commission has stated this regarding the Assistant Professor Recruitment:
The Commission has clarified that the Assistant Professor (Advertisement No. 51) exam, which was previously scheduled to be held on April 16 and 17, 2025, will be postponed. The examination for the post of Assistant Professor (Advt. No. 51) was postponed to September 5, 2025. It will now be held in 2026 as per the new schedule. The Commission has also stated that all necessary arrangements will be made to maintain the purity and transparency of the examination.
In an important notice, the Commission has stated that application and examination information related to the Assistant Professor (Advt. No. 51) in the subject of Microbiology will be made available separately on the Commission's website.
UP TET 2026: UPTET Notice to be Released Soon
The Commission has stated that the detailed schedule and application process for the Uttar Pradesh Teacher Eligibility Test 2026 (UP TET 2026) will be released soon through a separate notification.
