UP TGT-PGT Exam Dates: The Uttar Pradesh Education Service Selection Commission has announced the dates for the UP TGT-PGT recruitment examinations. The notification for these recruitment exams was released in June 2022. The commission has also released a complete calendar for other examinations along with the TGT-PGT recruitments. According to this calendar, the Assistant Professor (Advertisement No. 51) recruitment examination will be held on April 18 and 19, 2026. The TGT recruitment (Advertisement No. 02/2022) examination will be held on May 9 and 10, 2026.
The commission has proposed June 3 and 4 as the dates for the UP TGT recruitment examination. The commission has also stated that the Uttar Pradesh Teacher Eligibility Test (UP TET) 2026 will be conducted on July 2, 3, and 4, 2026.

UP TET 2026 Notification Soon
The Uttar Pradesh Education Service Selection Commission has announced that the notification for UP TET 2026 will be released soon. A separate notification will be issued for the detailed schedule and application process.
Assistant Professor Recruitment Examination
The commission stated in its notice that the results of the Assistant Professor recruitment examination held on April 16 and 17, 2025, were released on September 4. However, the examination was canceled after a decision at the competent level. This examination will be conducted again with strict security standards, transparency, and integrity. Information regarding the examination center, shift, and admit card issuance will be provided separately to the candidates in due course.
The commission further stated that information regarding the application and examination for the B.Ed. The subject for the Assistant Professor post will be released separately.
