UPESSC: The Uttar Pradesh Education Service Selection Commission has released the city slips for the Trained Graduate Teacher (TGT) recruitment examination 2026. According to the notification issued by the Commission, the TGT written examination—being conducted under Advertisement No. 01/2022—is scheduled to be held on June 3 and June 4, 2026. The examination will be conducted in two shifts across 614 examination centers established in 36 districts of the state.

According to the Commission, a total of 868,531 candidates have applied for this recruitment process. The examination will be conducted in two shifts: the first from 9:30 AM to 11:30 AM, and the second from 2:30 PM to 4:30 PM.

Examination to be held in 36 districts
The TGT examination will be conducted in various districts, including Agra, Mathura, Aligarh, Hathras, Ayodhya, Sultanpur, Azamgarh, Mau, Ballia, Bareilly, Basti, Sant Kabir Nagar, Banda, Chitrakoot, Bahraich, Gonda, Deoria, Gorakhpur, Jalaun, Jhansi, Kanpur Dehat, Kanpur Nagar, Lucknow, Rae Bareli, Ghaziabad, Meerut, Bhadohi, Mirzapur, Moradabad, Rampur, Pratapgarh, Prayagraj, Muzaffarnagar, Saharanpur, Jaunpur, and Varanasi.

Subject-wise examination schedule released.
In the first shift on June 3, 2026, examinations will be held for the subjects of Social Science, Physical Education, Science, and Urdu. Meanwhile, the second shift will cover the subjects of Hindi, Mathematics, Agriculture, and Vocal Music.

In the first shift on June 4, 2026, examinations will be conducted for English, Home Science, Biology, and Instrumental Music. The second shift will feature examinations for Sanskrit, Commerce, and Art.

Admit cards to be available for download starting May 30
The Commission has informed that the final details regarding the examination district will be made available on the Commission's official website starting May 23, 2026. Candidates will be able to view information regarding their examination centers by visiting the website.

Furthermore, the Commission has clarified that admit cards will be available for download via the website starting May 30, 2026. No candidate will be permitted to appear for the examination without a valid admit card.
