UP TET Exam Date: The Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission (UPPSC) will release a calendar of various examinations and recruitments at the beginning of the new year. It is being reported that the commission will release this calendar in the first week of January. The biggest good news in this calendar could be for those candidates who have been waiting for the UP TET exam for the past four years. It is believed that the new date for the UP TET exam, which was postponed a few days ago, may be announced in this calendar.

TET Exam Postponed
The decision to postpone the UP TET exam was taken in the first meeting held in the presence of the new chairman of the UP Education Service Selection Commission and former UP DGP Prashant Kumar. It was stated at that time that the date of this examination would be announced in the new calendar. Earlier, the UP TET exam was scheduled to be held on January 29 and 30, 2026. Millions of candidates are eagerly awaiting this exam, as the TET exam has not been conducted in Uttar Pradesh for the past four years.

Schedule of These Exams Will Be Released
Apart from the UP TET, the new UPPSC calendar to be released in January may announce the dates for recruitments such as PCS (Provincial Civil Service), Review Officer/Assistant Review Officer (RO/ARO), and Block Education Officer (BEO). The calendar released last year announced the dates for 21 such recruitments. It is being said that the 2026 recruitment calendar has been almost finalized and can be released at any time.

What are the Challenges Before the Commission?
The challenges before the UP Education Service Selection Commission are to conduct the examinations on time and to completely prevent any irregularities. Many examinations in Uttar Pradesh are not conducted on time, and their postponement leads to considerable anger among the youth. It remains to be seen how Prashant Kumar, a former police officer now working in the UP government, will tackle these challenges.
