Additionally, 60 questions will be drawn from Mathematics & Science or Social Studies, depending on the candidate's chosen subject.

The UPTET 2026 examination will be of 150 minutes (two and a half hours) duration. All questions will be of the Multiple Choice Question (MCQ) type, and each question will carry 1 mark.
