UP Special TET 2026: Applications for UP Special TET have begun; here’s how to apply..

Here is important news for candidates currently working as teachers in Uttar Pradesh. The Uttar Pradesh Education Service Selection Commission (UPESSC), Prayagraj, has initiated the online application process for the UP Special TET 2026. Teachers can register for this exam starting September 5. This examination is being conducted specifically for teachers working at the primary and upper primary levels. Additionally, special educators—specifically those catering to the CWSN (Children with Special Needs) category—will also have the opportunity to appear for the exam. Approximately 2,500 special and assistant teachers fall within the scope of this examination. The exam is scheduled to be held on November 3, 2026.

**Application Form Submission Only After OTR**
UPESSC has made One-Time Registration (OTR) mandatory for the application process this time. This means candidates must complete the OTR process before filling out the Special TET form. Only after completing OTR will they be able to apply using their login credentials.

**Completion of OTR is Mandatory**
To apply, candidates must visit the Commission's website and complete the OTR process. Subsequently, they will need to enter their personal and educational details in the Special TET 2026 application form. Working teachers will also be required to enter their eHRMS code, where applicable. Meanwhile, CWSN teachers must provide details regarding their valid CRR number and RCI registration certificate.

Following this, candidates must upload their photograph, signature, and necessary documents, and pay the application fee. It is advisable to retain the receipt or confirmation page after submitting the form.

**No Changes Allowed to Certain Details**
The Commission has urged candidates to exercise great care while filling out the application form. Once the final submission is made, details such as category, sub-category, date of birth, and gender cannot be altered. Therefore, candidates are advised to thoroughly verify all details before submitting the form.

**Last Date for Exam Fee Payment**
The deadline for paying the examination fee is October 4. Candidates are advised to complete their application well in advance to avoid any last-minute technical issues. The UP Special TET 2026 examination will be held on November 3.
