Fresh registrations for the Uttar Pradesh Post-Matric Scholarship (for levels above Class 10, excluding Classes 11 and 12) were accepted until October 31. The Uttar Pradesh Social Welfare Department has now set a deadline of November 4, 2026, for students to submit the hard copy of their application form, along with all required supporting documents, to their respective colleges.
Students who have completed their registration but have not yet submitted their forms to their college should do so without delay. Failure to submit the form by the deadline will result in the loss of the scholarship.
Documents to be attached with the application form:
Aadhaar card, PAN card, income certificate, birth certificate, domicile/residence certificate, previous year’s mark sheet, fee receipt, a scanned copy of the bank passbook, caste certificate (if applicable), passport-sized photograph, enrollment number, etc.
Scholarship funds will be disbursed in December.
For students renewing their scholarships, funds may be disbursed between December 1 and December 10, 2026. Subsequently, following the resolution of any discrepancies or errors in the data, a second round of disbursement may take place between January 16 and January 25, 2027.
Similarly, for fresh applicants, funds are scheduled to be disbursed between December 21 and December 31, 2026; a second round of disbursement—following the rectification of any questionable or erroneous data—will occur between January 27 and January 31, 2027.
Please note that scholarship disbursements can sometimes be delayed. In such cases, funds may be transferred to students' accounts at any time between January and March. It is advised to check the status of your application periodically.
