UP Scholarship 2024: The Social Welfare Department of the Government of Uttar Pradesh has invited applications for pre-matric and post-matric for the academic year 2024-25. Applications for scholarships have been going on since July. Its last date is 31 December. Students interested in scholarships who meet the eligibility criteria can apply by visiting the official website scholarship.up.gov.in. It is worth noting that minority backward classes like Muslim, Sikh, Christian, Buddhist, Jain, and Parsi students will have to apply by visiting the website of the Minority Welfare Department. Students studying in Sanskrit schools in the state can also apply for this scholarship.

Eligibility for Pre-Matric and Post-Matric Scholarship

The family income of General, OBC, and minority category students should be up to two lakhs and SC/ST should be up to Rs 2.5 lakh.

Students have to pass the final examination.

Valid caste certificate.

The student must have an Aadhar card.

Registration for scholarship – 1st July to 20th December 2024
Online application – 12th July to 31st December 2024
Last printout available date – 15th July 2024 to 16th January 2025
Date of data locking by District Committee – 31st December 2024 to 5th March 2025
Student validation on PFMS – 26th November 2024 to 24th February 2024

Amount in pre-matric scholarship

SC/ST and general category – Rs 3000 per annum
Scholarship for backward class – Rs 2250 per annum
