Girls will now be admitted to the Captain Manoj Kumar Pandey Sainik School, located in Lucknow, the capital of Uttar Pradesh. The Governor has approved this. Starting from the 2027-28 academic year, a total of 40 girls will be admitted to the Sainik School based on an entrance exam. Until now, only boys were admitted to this school. To enter a Sainik School, students must appear for the All India Sainik Schools Entrance Exam (AISSEE). The exam is conducted at the national level. Separate exams are held for admission to classes 6 and 9. The exam is conducted nationally by the National Testing Agency. This year, the Sainik School Entrance Test was held on April 5.

What is the fee for Lucknow Sainik School?
