Before the written examination, advance information about the exam city, or the city slip, will be released. According to the information, candidates will be able to download their city slip from the official website starting March 6, 2026. This slip will only provide city information; it is not an admit card.

When and how to get the city slip?
The Uttar Pradesh Police Recruitment and Promotion Board (UPPRPB) city slip will be available starting March 6, 2026. Candidates will need to log in to uppbpb.gov.in. Login will require their registration number and date of birth. Afterward, download the District/City Information Slip. This slip is intended to help candidates determine in advance which district or city their exam will be held in. This will allow them to make timely train, bus, or lodging arrangements.

When and how will the written exam be conducted?
The UP Police SI Recruitment Exam will be held on March 14 and 15, 2026, at various centers across all 75 districts of Uttar Pradesh. The exam will be conducted in two shifts on both days. The first shift will be from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm, and the second shift will be from 3:00 pm to 5:00 pm.

Do not mistake the city slip for the admit card.
The board has clearly stated that the city slip should not be mistaken for the admit card. Entry to the examination center will not be granted without the admit card.
