The Uttar Pradesh Police Recruitment and Promotion Board has made the admit cards available for download for the 2025 written examination for the direct recruitment of Sub-Inspector Civil Police and equivalent posts. Candidates can download them immediately by visiting the UPPBPB's official website, uppbpb.gov.in, or by clicking on the direct link provided on this page. To download the hall ticket, candidates must enter their registration number and date of birth.

Exam to be held on March 14 and 15
The Uttar Pradesh Police Recruitment and Promotion Board will examine this recruitment on March 14 and 15, 2026, at designated examination centers across the state. The examination will be conducted in two shifts on both days.

How to download the admit card
To download the UP Police SI City Slip, first visit the official website, uppbpb.gov.in.
Then click on the admit card link.
After clicking on the link, candidates will be required to submit their login credentials.
After entering your login details, the hall ticket will open on the screen.

Exam Pattern
The UP Police SI written exam will consist of 160 multiple-choice questions with a total of 400. Questions will be asked from General Hindi/Computer Knowledge, General Awareness/Current Issues, Numerical and Mental Ability Tests, and Mental Ability Tests/IQ Tests/Logical Reasoning Tests.

Exam Guidelines
The UP Police Department has issued a notification detailing exam guidelines, which are mandatory for candidates to follow. The guidelines are as follows:

On the exam day, appear two hours before the start of the exam with the admit card issued by the Board, Aadhaar card/identity proof (DL, Passport), and a black/blue ballpoint pen. The entrance will be closed 30 minutes before the start of the exam, and no candidates will be admitted after that.

Candidates who have not registered their application form using an Aadhaar number, or whose Aadhaar number is found to be mismatched during the application stage, are required to report to the examination centre 2.30 hours before the commencement of the examination so that their verification can be done within the stipulated time period. Candidates will appear for the written examination with their updated and unlocked Aadhaar card.

Candidates are required to reach the examination centre on time to avoid any inconvenience. Candidates should read all the instructions given on the admit card and ensure compliance with them. Technical arrangements have been made to identify any person attempting to appear in the examination in place of a candidate. Strict legal action will be taken against such individuals and candidates.

Study materials (printed or written), pieces of paper, geometric pencil boxes, plastic pouches, any type of calculator, credit/debit cards, scales, copies, pen drives, erasers, log tables/electronic pens/scanners, digital pens, electronic gadgets such as mobile phones, keys, cameras, any type of watch, jewelry, smartwatches, Bluetooth devices, earphones, microphones, pagers, health bands, wallets/purses, sunglasses, handbags, hats, open or packaged food items, cigarettes, lighters, matches, gutkha are strictly prohibited from being brought into the examination center. Appropriate legal action will be taken if a candidate is found with any of the above prohibited items during the examination period.
