UP Police Reschedules PET Dates Due to Rain; Check Exam Schedule

In view of the rain and waterlogging on the grounds at certain exam centers, the Uttar Pradesh Police Recruitment and Promotion Board has rescheduled the exam dates for several centers.

Here is an important update regarding the Physical Efficiency Test (PET) for the Uttar Pradesh Police Constable recruitment. Due to rain and waterlogging at some exam centers, the Uttar Pradesh Police Recruitment and Promotion Board (UPPRPB) has changed the exam dates for several locations. The PET, which began on October 1, will now be conducted on different dates at specific centers. The Board has postponed the PET originally scheduled for October 1 at nine centers to October 8, 2026. Revised admit cards will be issued for the exams where dates and centers have been changed.

According to the UPPRPB, the PET scheduled for the following centers will now take place on October 8: 12th Battalion PAC Fatehpur, 8th Battalion PAC Bareilly, 9th Battalion PAC Moradabad, 26th Battalion PAC Gorakhpur, 37th Battalion PAC Kanpur, 6th Battalion PAC Meerut, 47th Battalion PAC Ghaziabad, 20th Battalion PAC Azamgarh, and 39th Battalion PAC Mirzapur. However, PETs scheduled for these centers after October 3 will proceed according to the original schedule, except for those centers for which the Board has issued a separate revised date.

Schedule Changed for Azamgarh, Gorakhpur, and Meerut

For candidates at the 20th Battalion PAC Azamgarh, 26th Battalion PAC Gorakhpur, and 6th Battalion PAC Meerut centers, changes have been made not only to the October 1 exam but also to the dates scheduled for the following few days. At these centers, the exam originally scheduled for October 1 will now be held on October 8, the October 3 exam on October 9, and the October 4 exam on October 10, 2026. The exam scheduled for October 5 will take place according to the original schedule.

Exam Center Changed in Bareilly Too

The exam center has been changed for candidates associated with the 8th Battalion PAC, Bareilly. Their PET (Physical Efficiency Test) will now be conducted at the Police Lines, Bareilly. Consequently, candidates must download a new admit card and report to the revised exam center mentioned therein. Meanwhile, the PET will no longer be held at the 37th Battalion PAC, Kanpur, and the 12th Battalion PAC, Fatehpur; candidates assigned to these centers will be rescheduled to other exam centers.

Ensure You Carry the Revised Admit Card

The UPPRPB has stated that the old admit cards of candidates whose exam dates or centers have changed will no longer be valid. Such candidates must appear for the PET with the revised admit card.
